Job Title: General Manager
Hours of Work: Full Time
Salary:

To be responsible for the smooth and efficient day to day management of the unit whilst ensuring that income and profit is maximised without compromising the brand standards and values of the business.
Leading a team of three Duty Managers and approximately thirty staff in delivering the highest standards in customer experience and ensuring that all legal requirements are fully complied with in accordance with all legislation and company policies.

The Role

This is highly demanding role requiring excellent leaderships skills in every aspect of the business, which include but are not limited to:

  • People management
  • Customer experience
  • Financial management
  • Business development
  • Health & Safety within the work place
  • Setting of targets and objectives and reviewing performance against them


In addition to these duties and responsibilities, the General Manager is required to carry out any other reasonable duties that may be required on occasion.

Ideally you will be an experienced and dynamic operator who can demonstrate a track record in successfully leading your team in achieving results within a high volume customer facing environment in the leisure, retail or hospitality sector.

Job Title: Cafe Assistant
Hours of Work: Part Time (Immediate Start)
Salary:

As a Cafe staff member you will be constantly interacting with customers and other staff members including Management. Your main aim is to ensure all products are available for purchase and they are served in a timely and presentable manner.

The Role

Smooth running of the Café including both the kitchen and seating areas

The applicant will meet the following criteria;

  • Operation of the till as and when required during your shift
  • General cleaning duties within the kitchen & seating areas
  • Ensure that tables are cleared, wiped down and bins emptied when required
  • Prepare hot and cold food as and when required
  • Be polite and courteous to customers & colleagues at all times
  • Be able to deal with minor customer complaints or concerns in a calm and collective manner
  • You may also be asked to operate another food or drink outlet within the facility at Ice Hockey or other events
  • You will assist with the safe evacuation of the café in the event of an emergency evacuation
  • You will make sure that you attend your shift at all times in a well presented manner and wear the company uniform whilst on duty
  • You must attend all staff training sessions scheduled.
  • You will help assist with any specific café daily weekly check sheets
  • You must periodically probe food ensuring the temperature has reached 75 degrees
  • Carry out probe tests for the fridges and freezers
  • Complete the SFBB checks
  • You must always maintain the highest levels of hygiene
  • You must not wear any nail varnish
  • Your hair must be kept away from your face at all times
  • Hands must be washed prior to the start of work and after eating, drinking, smoking or handling any non-food item


There may be times when you are required to undertake duties and responsibilities within other departments to assist in the smooth running of the operation.
